  • San Sung Korean Restaurant in Makati: Home-cooked Korean in Poblacion
  • A lot of Filipinos believe that a home-cooked meal is better than anything you can find out on the streets. Apparently, the same thing applies to Korean cuisine, with several Korean restaurants in Makati being run by Korean couples. One of these is San Sung.

San Sung has been around for five years and is a favorite among those who frequent the streets of Brgy. Poblacion. It’s known for homecooked Korean food that makes use of both local and imported ingredients to suit the local palate.

Go full Korean with their table-top grills that use steel plates imported from Korea. These are so well made, they give a higher temperature compared to those you can get locally.

    SAMGYUPSAL (Php 300)

They also make use of both high-quality local pork and imported beef to give you the full Korean experience, especially with their samgyupsal (Php 300), which uses high-grade local pork belly.

SPICY SQUID (PHP 400). They also serve a mean spicy squid.

They’re also known to be very generous with their banchan or side dishes, as they come free with whatever you order from their menu.
