We’re still feeling the season of love, and it doesn’t matter what your relationship status is. We all deserve a great weekend, so here are the events happening this weekend that will surely keep you off your couch.

    Oh Wonder Live at Ayala Malls (February 16 – 18)

    British Indie-Electro duo Oh Wonder will be performing again in the Philippines! After being a part of the Goodvybes Fest in 2016, they’re making a comeback with a series of shows at select Ayala Malls happening this month of February.

    Food and Hotel Expo Manila (February 16 – 18)

    Considering the rise and evergrowing potential of the food service and hotel industry in the country, the expo aims to be a platform for industry players to connect, interact, and share their views on the trade’s current situation. It will also be a chance for aspiring chefs, hoteliers, and tourism students to learn from the experts and start expanding their network.

    INCUBUS Live in Manila (February 17)

    After their successful concert in Manila last 2015, INCUBUS will once again have their concert, produced by Ovation Productions. During their comeback concert, the band is expected to play songs from its latest album “8” that was released in April 2017.

    Globe Live Ensemble: A Valentine Concert (February 17)

    The truth is you don’t really need to have a good voice or some divine musical talent to make your sweetheart happy. However, if you really want to send butterflies flying in their stomach, let the best local artists serenade them for you instead!

    Nihongo Fiesta Speech Contest (February 17)

    The Nihongo Speech Contest is an ideal platform for Filipino students and professionals to demonstrate their linguistic skills through articulating an original composition written by themselves on a theme of their choice. It continues to attract high caliber contestants from the country’s numerous language institutes, colleges/universities and other organizations offering Japanese language courses.

    Paramore Tour Four (February 18)

    The band, which consist of Hayley Williams, Taylor York, and Zac Farro, became popular for their chart-topping hits such as “That’s What You Get,” “My Heart,” “The Only Exception,” and “Misery Business.” This will be their third concert in Manila following their last tour in 2013 in the same venue.

    After War: World War II Film Festival (ongoing until February 17)

    To commemorate how our esteemed war veterans fought for freedom, Filipinas Heritage Library in partnership with Ayala Mall Cinemas will be presenting AFTER WAR: World War II Film Festival and Exhibition.

    Memento Obliviscere exhibit by Bea Camacho (ongoing until February 18)

    Memento Obliviscere means to remember and to forget. This exhibit is a continuation of Camacho’s previous solo exhibition Standard Fiction. This language is a foundation for the exhibit, focusing on how life seems to relate to the old and new.

    REP’s A Comedy of Tenors (ongoing until February 18)

    With a Paris hotel suite being the setting all throughout the play, A Comedy of Tenors creatively takes us through different scenes with each character’s unique depiction and everyone’s entangled misadventures.

    12th Spring Film Festival (ongoing until February 18)

    This year’s selection includes six full-length feature films covering a variety of genres—from comedy to romance to horror, a mix that will surely delight all types of audiences. All films will be available for FREE to the viewing public.

    The Wedding Library’s Weddings and Debuts Bridal Fair (ongoing until February 19)
