Before Ramen Ron became what it is now, it was known as Ukokkei Ramen Ron, a humble no-frills ramen joint along Arnaiz Avenue helmed by veteran Japanese Chef Hiroyuki Tamura.
When it closed down before the COVID-19 pandemic hit the country, Chef Margarita Fores offered Chef Tamura the opportunity to revive the business by collaborating with her and her son, Amado. Hence, Ramen Ron was born in its current location in Rockwell Center in 2020.

Just like its predecessesor, Ramen Ron prides itself on serving authentic and mouthwatering ramen dishes made with meticulous attention to detail. This can be seen in every aspect of the dining experience.
The noodles are carefully cooked to achieve the perfect texture and complement the flavorful broth. The toppings such as chashu, spring onions, and nori complement the extraordinary flavors of the soup.

Ramen Ron’s menu is a playground for ramen fanatics. Here, you can savor their famous ukokkei, shoyu, karamiso, and other stellar offerings.
For chiliheads, we recommend their tantanmen, a spicy ramen dish inspired by China’s dan dan noodles. Their mouthwatering version has chewy, handmade noodles in a rich, creamy broth infused with a blend of sesame and chili oil, giving it a fiery kick. It is generously topped with finely chopped green onions for a fresh, vibrant touch and additional depth of flavor.

Indulge in the earthy umami flavors of fried mushrooms and tofu “chashu,” perfectly harmonizing with a delectable broth and an assortment of toppings. It’s a meat-free delight that will leave you fully satisfied.
On top of that, you may also sink your teeth on its mouth-watering ebi tempura, chahan, and gyoza if you want something other than noodles. Ramen Ron also offers DIY ramen kits and other frozen products if you want to experience their offerings in the comforts of your home.
