NOW OPEN: La Spezia in BGC
Inspired by the coastal town of La Spezia in northern Italy, La Spezia is, as you would have guessed, an Italian restaurant in Quezon City that offers a variety of Italian dishes using fresh, sustainable ingredients that suit practically everyone’s taste. Now, you can savor their sumptious fare in the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) at their new branch that opened on January 8, 2025.
Their BGC branch gives off a warm, rustic Mediterranean charm with its earthy terracotta floors, high vaulted ceilings, natural wooden accents, modern wine storage displays, and subtle pops of color. The combination of soft lighting, cozy furniture, and open kitchen design creates an intimate vibe, perfect for enjoying authentic Italian cuisine.

As we’ve mentioned, La Spezia’s menu is a delightful blend of authentic Italian dishes: mouth-watering antipasti, hearty primi and secundi, indulgent dolce, among others. Start off with their Caprese, a visually stunning salad made with mozzarella di bufala, cherry tomatoes, micro basil, and edible flower petals for a vibrant presentation that’s as delightful to look at as it is to taste. Creamy, tangy, and perfectly balanced, it’s a refreshing starter that sets the tone for an exceptional meal.

Their Aglio Pesca, a seafood lover’s dream, has perfectly cooked clams, shrimp, and squid tossed in garlic-infused olive oil, chili flakes, and finished with a generous sprinkling of 18-month-aged Parmigiano-Reggiano that will definitely bring you straight to the Italian coast.

For the main event, try their Bistecca Rib-Eye, a perfectly char-grilled USDA Certified Angus Beef steak cooked medium-rare and served in thick, juicy slices. The meat is seasoned simply with salt to let the natural flavors shine.

To complement these, La Spezia’s desserts such as Salame di Cioccolato and beverages like Il Pumo Rosso from Italy round off the dining experience beautifully.
Aside from their regular menu, La Spezia also offers seasonal dishes to keep the dining experience exciting and fresh.
