Located in the Nurture Wellness Village, Farmer’s Table has its origins in the locavore movement, which emphasizes sourcing ingredients from local farms and producers. Raintree has even partnered with wellness advocate Cathy Brillantes Turvill to create an al fresco spot where you can relax, eat well, and recharge in nature’s embrace. It showcases the best of local agriculture, featuring fresh produce grown on-site as well as offerings from neighboring areas like Batangas for beef and seafood, and Amadeo for coffee and longganisa (Filipino-style sausage).
Heading the culinary team is Chef Kalel Chan, a seasoned professional who has built a reputation for preparing both Asian and Western dishes with a flair that shows his Ilocano roots. As the Corporate Chef of Raintree Hospitality Group, Chef Kalel brings a wealth of experience to Farmer’s Table to ensure that each dish is expertly prepared and highlights the best of local ingredients. His magical touch is evident in popular dishes like the Hothouse Cauliflower & Broccoli, which puts a vegetarian twist on buffalo wings, and Bulalo (Bone Marrow Bulalo Soup), a heartwarming Filipino classic with a healthier, farm-fresh spin.
