Rockwell has plenty of interesting establishments but Harlan + Holden Dine is pretty hard to miss since the place is a literal glasshouse. Anyone who’s ever encountered this establishment on social media has heard of its great ambiance and chic minimalist interiors. Stepping inside, the place definitely doesn’t disappoint. A design company was hired all the way from Copenhagen just to achieve the minimalist look.

Of course, since the establishment is a restaurant, the real star should be the food. Anyone eating at Harlan + Holden Dine should make room for their Home Made Corned Beef Rice Bowl (Php 390) which every diner raves about. They don’t skimp on the beef and the meat is tender enough that only minimal chewing is needed. To make the dish healthier, the corned beef is paired with red rice. A lot of people steer clear of rice that isn’t white because they tend to be tougher, but not here!

Harlan + Holden is all about healthy eating so don’t be surprised to see Kombucha (Php 250) on the menu. Customers can choose between two flavors: strawberry and orange + ginger. If you’re not one for fermented teas, they also have the Healthy Mondays Iced Tea (Php 180). Pair it with some Greek Arugula Salad (Php 420) and Tomato Soup (Php 240) for a great start to your meal.
