  • Pasong Tamo Extension: A Taste of Art, Wine, and Gastronomy
  • Pasong Tamo Extension is one of Makati’s most interesting stretches for those who like to eat, drink, shop, and explore beyond the usual commercial districts. Along and around the area are destination restaurants, cafés and bars, art galleries, furniture and interior shops, wine stores, and other specialty establishments, some suited for celebrations and business dinners, others easy enough to visit on an ordinary afternoon.

For this special feature, Philippine Primer looks beyond the section south of EDSA commonly associated with Pasong Tamo Extension and also includes noteworthy establishments south of Arnaiz Avenue. From Spanish classics and modern Filipino tasting menus to Argentine beef, premium wine, and contemporary art, the area offers plenty of reasons to spend a day exploring.

Spend a Day Along Pasong Tamo Extension

Pasong Tamo Extension brings together experiences that are rarely confined to just one category. A visit might begin with an art gallery, continue over a tasting menu or wood-fired Spanish lunch, and end with wine, jamón, or a stop at one of the area’s specialty shops.

With established names sitting alongside newer restaurants and creative spaces, this part of Makati continues to offer plenty to discover—one table, gallery, and storefront at a time.
