    From Showroom to Wine Bar

In 2013, Jojo Vega and his associates established Don Revy, a venture that imports and distributes wine, beer, and spirits to a distinguished clientele that included hotels, restaurants, and bars. Fast forward to 2018, they decided to open a showroom, where customers could sample their products. Over time, their loyal patrons expressed an appetite for more than just premium wines.

Responding to this, they allowed them to bring their own food. They then started offering cheese and charcuterie boards. This journey of exploration culminated in March 2023 with the grand opening of The Bevvy. This transformational step marked the beginning of a new chapter in their story, turning the humble showroom into  a full-fledged restaurant that goes beyond serving drinks. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Their diverse wine collection ranges from the crisp San Valley Chardonnay (Php 440) to the bold Helbig 1915 Shiraz (Php 16,715). The food menu is equally impressive, with popular dishes such as Bevvy Cold Cuts and Cheeses (Php 1,000) and Sizzling Grilled Sisig (Php 415) for appetizers. For the main course, guests can indulge in the Pan Roasted Ribeye (Php 1,800). The wine bar also allows bottle keeps for up to three days.

    More than Fine Wines

At its core, The Bevvy aimed to do away with the stigma often associated with wine, allowing diners to unwind in a quaint, private, premium space that offered exceptional drinks and exquisite food without feeling uptight or too formal.

This charming wine bar boasts an enticing menu featuring delectable mains from all over the world, including crispy pork knuckles, US ribeye, fish and chips, and herb-roasted chicken. You should try their salpicao which uses marinated sirloin infused with aromatic garlic and coco amino, offering a delectable harmony of flavors that tantalize the palate.

The Bevvy’s sausage platter combines imported sausages served with pearl onions and pickled gherkins, complemented by a selection of in-house sauces that create a savory and satisfying experience that elevates your drinks.

Delightful food options aside, The Bevvy truly lives up to its name by ensuring that drinks are the stars of the show. Their offerings pair beautifully with an array of wines, highlighting a remarkable blend of flavors to elevate your dining experience. They even have their own line—Pebble Line—that shows their dedication to the craft. Meanwhile, award-winning mixologist Lenon Aguilar brings his magic to the table with their signature cocktails, including the best-selling Chino by Night, a delightful drink featuring coffee rum, coconut, and lime. Whether you want to celebrate with a bottle or two of a rare vintage or just hanking for a pint of cold glass of beer, The Bevvy’s offerings cater to all desires.

The Bevvy is also a place where you can seamlessly blend work, leisure, and relaxation. Moreover, if you have a special occasion in mind, The Bevvy can be exclusively booked for your celebrations, adding an extra layer of elegance to your gatherings. It’s a space designed to accommodate up to 40 seated guests or as many as 60 comfortably standing. For as low as Php 50,000 (consumable), you can rent the place for three hours!

It’s no secret that The Bevvy is one of the hidden gems along Pasong Tamo Extension . This is why they’ve set their sights on creating a movement with the introduction of “Paso X,” shining a spotlight on establishments like Metiz, Toyo Eatery, and Kazunori, waiting to be discovered along this often overlooked strip in Makati.

Heeding their calling to making drinking wine approachable, The Bevvy offers an experience that is nothing short of extraordinary.  Whether you’re looking for a casual after-work drink, a place to socialize with friends, or a venue to celebrate special occasions, this wine bar’s charming ambiance and extensive beverage and food selection make it the ideal destination.
