Tapella has been around since 2009, and the initial concept was a modern Spanish tapas bar. Polish chef and owner Robert Spakowski  is into Spanish cuisine. This not-so ordinary chef has been an executive chef in Venezia at the age of 21 and has done restaurant consultancies. With 15 years of experience in cooking and his know-how in the food business, he had turned Tapas Bar and Restaurant a go-to place to dine and hang-out for locals and for expats, majority of which are Japanese.

“I want guests to come in and experience a modern lifestyle, and from the modern lifestyle, I mean not modern on the cuisine, but contemporary dishes with a twist, and some random fusion dishes that pop out from time to time” said Chef Robert as he took over the restaurant in 2013.

The restaurant can hold up to 160 guests and houses in a casual and laid back ambiance. Chef Robert shared that the interior of Tapella is simply designed with a hint of a modern Spanish vibe.

If you want a place to eat tapas with good selection of wine, then Tapella bar and restaurant is the place to be.
