  • Trattoria Altrove in Palawan: Home to the Famed Fire-Wood Brick-Oven Pizza
  • Home to the famed fire-wood brick oven pizza in El Nido, Trattoria Altrove is an exclusive Italian restaurant that hints a Filipino-inspired interior design and promises authenticity that roots back to pizza’s birthplace—Naples, Italy.

Trattoria’s signature hand-tossed dough that makes the famous Neapolitan pizza uses fresh ingredients cooked in a brick oven with intense heat that locks down natural flavors of all the ingredients.

To get the best of their flavors, try the Pancetta Con Tartufo Pizza, a combination of truffle cream with bacon, mozzarella cheese, and a dash of oregano.

If you’re looking to further add flavor to your pizza, they offer a Create-Your-Own-Pizza with the base of Margherita Pizza where you can add toppings with additional costs.

Altrove also takes pride in its pasta servings that are all imported from Italy and are made to order to maintain its freshness. Guests can choose from the three dry pasta choices: Spaghetti, Penne or Fettuccine.

We recommend their best-seller Gamberi e Olio d’Oliva for those who love a little spice on their plate. It is an oil-based pasta with sauteed shrimp tossed in sun-dried tomatoes and sprinkled with a pinch of red pepper and shaved parmesan to further enhance the flavors.

If you’re looking for other pasta servings, they also have lasagnas but are only exclusive to Pops District, Moalboal, BF and Siargao branches. Apart from pizza and pasta, Trattoria Altrove also serves steaks such as Australian Rib-eye and the world-famous Tuscan-porter house steak.

Cap off an Italian feast with their selection of cocktails like the Daiquiri or Margarita. But if you’re not feeling some alcohol, Trattoria Altrove also serves the Italian’s favorite coffee beans from Illy.

Their coffees are best paired with the Chocolate and White Chocolate Gelato, a sweet and creamy dessert to end your delectable meal!

Trattoria Altrove Pop’s District branch is the newest among the Trattoria Altrove branches in El Nido. They also have two branches in the town proper, one is the Main branch open for lunch and dinner while the express branch is open for take-outs.
