Bon Banhmi
In the quiet, residential street of Mayapis is a sandwich shop serving varieties of bahnmi, a traditional and Vietnamese sandwich considered to be one of the best street food all over the world. At Bon Bahnmi, the Traditional Bahnmi is made of layers of different textures of pork – lean, jambon (thigh meat), and liver pate – mixed with some shredded and crunchy vegetables, tucked in between a light and crispy baguette. Diners have the option of choosing grilled beef, chicken, roasted pork for their protein, or going for a full-on vegetarian sandwich. They can also order the baguettes, which on their own are just as good, and easily go out of stock.
