  • Yes, today’s the much-awaited Christmas day and we complied a list of new restaurants that opened in the latter half of 2019 to round up a year-long gastronomic journey!

    Panda Express

    Known as the largest American-Chinese dining concept, Panda Express opened its first Manila branch at SM Megamall, Ortigas. This was possible due to the partnership of Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. and Jollibee Foods Corp. (JFC), announcing that they will expand Panda Express in the country.

    Not only that, they will be bringing the same menu from America! One of the signature dishes is the Original Orange Chicken, a wok-tossed crispy fried chicken known for its sweet and tangy flavor.

    Chatto Bites

    Craving for a Japanese-inspired burger? Check out the newly-opened Chatto Bites located in Assembly Grounds at The Rise, Makati. Chatto Bites serves four variation of appetizing burgers such as Original Burgers, Rice Burgers, Beef Burgers, and Special Burgers.

    Munch on the crowd favorite Karaage Burger (Php 200), made with deep-fried chicken patty with the special wasabi tomato sauce.

    Monga

    Founded by Taiwanese celebrity Nono, Monga is popular for offering Taiwanese signature chicken. In fact, this has become the talk about of the town in line with the street food and night market scene.

    What sets them apart is its signature 2-inch tick fried chicken fillets, which comes in three flavors: The King, Hot Chock, and Taiker.

    Putien is deemed as a One-Michelin Star restaurant, offering authentic Fujian specialties. The restaurant is originally from Singapore, and only serves well-prepared dishes with fresh ingredients from places in Fujian.

    Try out the Bian Rou Soup, 100-Second Stewed Yellow Croaker, and Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychee.

    Tucked in the buzzing city of Makati, Bad Cafe has been serving specialty coffee and baked goods to their customers who consistently come back for more of their munchies. Their coffee is fresh from Indonesia and they roast it at a local roaster.
