  • Caffe Puccini at BGC’s Fort Strip
  • During BGC’s early days, restaurants were few and far between. Yes, there were quality restaurants, but several of BGC’s mainstays have since said goodbye. That’s not the case with Caffe Puccini, one of BGC’s longest-standing Italian joints.

Caffe Puccini first opened their doors in 2004. Named after Giacomo Puccini by its Italian owner, they are known for their hand-made pizzas baked in brick ovens. Italian chefs visit every now and then to keep the quality as high as possible, while still maintaining a casual restaurant vibe.

BEST SELLER. The Pizza Puccini is a simple yet delicious pizza from Caffe Puccini.

Their best-selling pizza is the Pizza Puccini (Php 670++). The ingredients are simple, yet deliver quite the punch in terms of flavor: fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, sausage, prosciutto, and arugula. It’s finished with a balsamic reduction to add even more flavor.

SEAFOOD SALAD. A staple in many Italian restaurants, Puccini’s Insalata di Mare can compete with the best of them.

A favorite among Japanese customers is Puccini’s Insalata di Mare (Php 495++). The combination of bell peppers, olives, capers, and assorted seafood give it a fresh taste. That freshness is preserved by a small helping of their lemon-olive oil.

FANCY PASTA. Puccini’s black truffle pasta is something you won’t see or eat every day because of the black truffle.

The Truffle and Parmaham pasta (Php 635++) oozes with class. A pasta that has black truffle, parma ham, and bits of mushroom that’s finished off with butter, olive oil, and parmesan cheese; a classy dish through and through.

FOR THE MEAT LOVER IN YOU. Their Filleto di Manzano alla Diane is perfect for meat lovers at only Php 1,250 ++.

You can find Caffe Puccini at Unit 12, The Fort Strip, 28th St., cor. 7th Ave., Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. They’re open from Sunday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.; and Fridays & Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
