  • Luna Rossa Vegetarian Italian Restaurant in Bohol: Al Fresco Dining and Veggie Delights
  • Luna Rossa Vegetarian Italian Restaurant is one of the few vegetarian restaurants on Panglao Island. It features an al fresco setting, perfect for dinner.

While the restaurant offers a limited variety of food, you can expect the offerings to be inventive. They have the usual Italian offerings such as pasta as well as desserts. They also have a selection of wines that you can choose to accompany your meal.

Upon being seated, you will be greeted with their complimentary starters that are originals made by the restaurant’s chef. Try this eggplant paste and potato over bread served with flowers. You can eat everything on the plate as the flowers are edible!

Try their Spring Lasagna (Php 350), a delectable treat with al dente pasta, mixed veggies, and the perfect blend of sauce. If you’re not so sure about which dish to try first, we suggest you try the lasagna!

Up next are Potato Skewers (Php 300), a dish that’s part of their second-course menu. If you are a potato lover, this dish is for you! The soft texture of the potato and the eggplant cream perfectly give a totally unique flavor.

Luna Rossa Vegetarian Italian Restaurant is one of Panglao’s must-try restaurants and for good reason as well. While the selection is very few, you won’t regret trying it out as the dishes are not only flavorful but they’re also presented in creative ways– perfect for the ‘gram!

    How to get here:

    • By public transport: From your hotel in Panglao Island, you can ask for the front desk to arrange a third-party tricycle ride to Luna Rossa. One tricycle costs about Php 100 – Php 200.
