A wine bar housing 150 types of the best wine, Dr. Wine’s impressive collection of vintages and other good stuff are personally tasted and chosen by the French sommelier owners Vincent and Eva Landais, Jean Philippe Guillot of AWC Wines Philippines, and Simon Côté of Apotheke Craft Spirits Co.

The wine bar opened in August 2017 and easily became one of the most popular watering whole in the Metro, thanks to its excellent wine and cold cuts. The menu features a range of delectable cheese platters, salads, and mains that pair perfectly with the alcoholic bevarages it offers.

A certified crowd pleaser, The Doctor’s Platter (Php 1,980) is a great mix of cheese and cold cuts imported from France and Germany, including a homemade slice of country rustic pâté, chicken liver mousse, and pickled vegetables, served with pineapple mostarda for that extra spiciness and zinginess that elevate the dish further.

For appetizers, Dr. Wine also has Salmon Rillettes (Php 475) served with artisan bread, Terrine de Foie Gras Au Torchon an L’Armagnac (Php 1,490) served with mango chutney and rustic toasted bread, and many, many more.

From their menu comes a Cheese Board (Php 990) with the chef’s cheese selection of the day served with a slice of pork rillettes, chicken liver mousse, vegetables pickes, and pineapple mostarda. Feel free to pair these with their collection of wine!

Dr. Wine also serves fresh salads such as the Mr. Seguin’s Goat Cheese Salad (Php 720), a refreshing frisee salad topped with melted goat cheese, walnuts, and red beets generously drizzled with honey.

Also for starters, warm the belly with soup. La Soupe A L’Oignon Gratinee (Php 580) with three kinds of onions, countryside bread crouton gratinated with emmental cheese on top. The hot sweet and tangy soup goes well with another starter, Escargots a la Bourguignonne (Php 590) of traditional Burgundy snails!

The Doctor’s Stairway to Heaven (Php 350) which is chocolate custard topped with whipped cream and crunchy orange tuille in a mason jar. Chocolates are not usually made sweet like this and you will surely come back to Dr. Wine for this!

Lastly, a trip to Dr. Wine won’t be complete without having a glass (or two or three!) of its beer, spirit, wine, and cocktail options. The wine bar even has a happy hour where you can buy one, get one on its alcoholic offerings from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. daily.

While you can enjoy a private dining room on the third floor complete with the sala, kitchen and long table, guests can also enjoy al fresco dining on the roofdeck bar, where they can also have some of their signature cocktails.
