(CLOSED) Blended by Cole Is An Eco-Friendly Juice and Smoothie Bar in the South
Milk tea, without a doubt, has completely taken over the Filipinos’ taste for beverages. With known foreign brands opening and even local shops creating their own twists, it sure has captured the hearts of people these days. But excessive consumption of such sweet drink can be considered unhealthy—this is where fruit-based drinks kick in.

Blended by Cole was first introduced to the public on November 1 last year, catering to the visitors of a memorial park in Muntinlupa. Owner Dra. Rhecone Esmeria explained that they only took the chance to expose this new concept alongside their previous fruit store Just Squeeze, which in particular, offers citrus fruits.

Receiving a favorable reception during the first try, Blended by Cole continued to entice more and more customers in different bazaars around the metro—until they finally thought of opening their own store.
It was only last May 23, 2019 when they finally found a location and formally opened as one of the many food options in Festival Mall, Alabang.
Watermelon Smoothie (Php 150)
Located on the lower ground floor of the mall’s expansion wing, Blended by Cole offers all-natural juices and smoothies, cooling you up amidst the unpredictable weather.
What’s rather interesting about this store is that they use the fruit peels as their cups—which, obviously, is quite trendy and eye-catching (or should we say, very Instagrammable). Besides, the concept truly embraces the green living and practices, promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle as they only use wooden spoon and paper straws.

One must try their juices like the Orange Juice (Php 55) and Dragon Fruit Juice (Php 120), which are both very refreshing.

If you want to hangout with your friends for a while, you may opt to choose their smoothies like the Watermelon Smoothie (Php 150), Melon Smoothie (Php 140), and Pineapple Smoothie (Php 140).
Dragon Fruit Juice (Php 120)
The Fruit Basket (Php 150), on the other hand, will allow you to savor the solid sweet and sour hints of the fruits they have in store. It is showered with the pink Himalayan salt that makes each slice even tastier.
Kids (and kids at heart) will undoubtedly enjoy the toothsome Fresh Fruit Pops (Php 55 each). It has no artificial coloring, not even preservatives and chemicals.

Another fact that makes Blended by Cole worth raving about is that they don’t just stop on protecting the planet, but even support other Filipino workers.
“As we commit to serve real fruit juice and healthy smoothies while taking care of our environment, we keep on looking for zero-waste alternatives to serve our products,” Esmeria explained. This led them to help local communities while crafting their products.

Blended by Cole sources their fresh fruits from certain local farms in Cavite. They also use handcrafted baskets from the agricultural municipality of Luisiana in Laguna, known for its abundant weaved pandan (tropical plant) products.

More than that, the chic store flaunts a handwoven mat, or banig in Filipino. It was personally crafted by an 85-year-old member of Tagolwanen Tribe of Malaybalay City in Bukidnon.
Soon, Blended by Cole is opening branches all over the metro and eventually will open for franchise.
