  • Most of our best finds are also the best-kept secrets of Cavite—just like Lime and Basil Restaurant, which is sequestered in a residential area in Alfonso a good distance away from the main highway.

Since 2012, Lime and Basil has been offering their own rendition of well-known Thai dishes by incorporating Filipino flavors while staying faithful to original Thai cooking methods. Herbs, which are an essential part of many Thai dishes, are grown in their own backyard. It also adds to the beautiful natural scenery surrounding the home-like restaurant.

Whet your appetite with their fresh spring rolls, which are packed with fresh vegetables and herbs, beautifully wrapped in rice paper, and topped with a tangy and slightly spicy sauce that ties everything together. Light and refreshing, this is a delightful start to your meal.

You may also opt to have your meal under the clouds on a clear day or in the evening when evening lights and stars prevail for a more romantic vibe.
