The Dessert Kitchen in Makati
Perhaps some may agree that a meal isn’t complete without dessert? If you have a sweet tooth, The Dessert Kitchen will be your new hang-out before, after, and even during meals. You can have your dessert served hot or cold, but one thing is certain: all ingredients and desserts are fresh and imported. The fruits used are local but for the other treats, they make sure to bring the best of the best to their kitchen.
Dessert Kitchen in Powerplant Mall, Rockwell, Makati was designed by a friend of the owner
The Dessert Kitchen is an international brand known for their cold treats. Here in the Philippines, they have branches around Metro Manila. We visited their biggest branch inside Power Plant Mall in Rockwell. The restaurant is painted with murals about stories that involve their love for desserts. Somewhat Parisian like, the restaurant is located nearby a bookstore which makes it convenient for bookworms.

The Mid-Summer Festival (Php 268)
The Dessert Kitchen Eggettes (Php 228)
They are usually found inside Tuan Tuan Restaurant. Unlike other dessert shops, they focus on Asian desserts. You can choose from a variety of iced desserts such as shaved ice, sundaes, parfaits, and soft-serves. They also have eggettes with fruits and topped with your choice of ice cream. Try their Kitchen Eggettes (Php 228), which uses their original eggettes bubble waffle.
Their best-selling dessert of all time, Purple in love (Php 258)
They are also known for one specific dish. It’s won an award, made with Kyoho Grapes, seaweed balls, mochi ball, taro mochi, condensed milk, and grape syrup. The Purple in love (Php 258) is a definite must-try for dessert lovers. For sundaes, try The Mid-Summer Festival (Php 268), a jubilee of fresh mangoes, pomelo with yuzu lemon jellies. The mix is interesting especially when eaten all together.
By the end of the year, they’ll be creating new desserts hopefully inspired by Filipinos; also signature desserts by the brand. The branch in Power Plant Mall has more offerings compared to their other stores in Metro Manila. It’s located at 3/F, Power Plant Mall, Lopez Drive, Rockwell Center, Makati City.
