Located in the quiet nook of Talipanan Beach is Luca’s Cucina Italiana, which welcomes its visitors with a 180 degree view of the majestic sea and shoreline. Built by Ms. Sheila and her husband Luca, who hails from Bologna Italy, they made a home for adventurers and wanderlusts in a quaint Italian restaurant combining the style of the Filipino nipa hut and presumably Tuscan architecture. Only five minutes away from White Beach through local transport, the open restaurant features a hotel, together with the view, and offers the best location for beach bathing one can enjoy.

It is a party plate with mussels, shrimp, and squid, in their pasta Marinara of seafood and red sauce (P320). It is sure to make the tummy happy as one serving is good for 3-4 persons.

Their signature Luca’s pizza (P400) has tickled the curious minds of customers for ages, wondering if it has been named after the owner or a son. Available in half fold and half open, it is a mozzarella and mushroom pizza topped with ham and salami. It is also good for sharing, making it an almost favorite to everyone trying out the place for the first time. The generous helpings, add to that the convenience of the place and the hospitality of the owner and his wife makes one go back again.
