Wee Nam Kee in Alabang: Hainanese Chicken, Laksa, and Other Singaporean Faves
Craving for Hainanese chicken? Come and visit Wee Nam Kee at Alabang Town Center!
Wee Nam Kee may be a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Singapore, but its ATC branch is known to be a sit-down restaurant, where your family can share a whole Hainanese chicken, or two.
Wee Nam Kee’s Soy Chicken
In Wee Nam Kee Singapore, the soy chicken has always been part of their Hainanese chicken family. When they opened a branch in the Philippines though, they decided to keep the menu tighter and included Soy Chicken as one of their best sellers in Wee Nam Kee ATC Branch. Their soy chicken is slightly sweet and doused in sauce, perfect for pouring over your Hainanese chicken rice.
Aside from the classic soy chicken, Wee Nam Kee also offers the following:
- Hainanese chicken curry noodles – Wee Nam Kee’s classic Thai noodles topped with their signature chicken, tofu, and bean sprouts;
- Classic laksa- Hofan noodles and pork, mixed with a lot of squid balls, as well as bean sprouts; and
- Buchi Cheesecake –Deep fried balls of cheesecake covered in sesame seeds.
In addition to their enticing menu list, Wee Nam Kee Philippines decided to give their stores a “facelift”, especially in their ATC branch. The birdcages that used to hang from the ceilings were removed, giving the restaurant itself a much younger look and feel. Several pictures and murals now compliment their bricked wall, giving the restaurant a nostalgic ambiance that will continue to entice more and more people to try their restaurant.
