TRAVELER’S GUIDE: Boracay’s Must-Visit Spots, Food Picks, and Island Adventures
Boracay, the Philippines’ world-renowned island paradise, beckons travelers with its powdery white sands, turquoise waters, and unforgettable sunsets that paint the sky in stunning hues.
This enduring appeal has earned Boracay consistent recognition on the global stage. In 2024, it was named the 3rd best island in Asia in Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards. In 2025, it continued its streak of excellence by ranking 4th best island in the world in both the UK-based Condé Nast Traveller and the US-based Condé Nast Traveler lists—an achievement that further cements its status as one of the planet’s most beloved destinations.
One of its greatest highlights is the iconic White Beach, which transforms into a breathtaking spectacle at sunset. As the sun dips below the horizon, the sky bursts into hues of orange, pink, and gold, casting a warm glow over the powdery white sand and turquoise waters. Locals and travelers alike gather to watch, creating a serene yet vibrant island atmosphere.
Beyond the White Beach, the island reveals a rich tapestry of experiences, whether through its welcoming local culture, its selection of boutique shops and cafés, or its many scenic spots like Diniwid Beach. This beach is a serene stretch of sand located just a short walk from Boracay’s White Beach via a scenic cliffside path. Quaint resorts and restaurants line the shore, offering a charming escape from the island’s busier areas.
Everything is in Boracay, even golf. Travelers are welcome to walk-in and experience the centerpiece of Fairways & Bluewater: its 18-hole, 6,524-yard championship golf course, offering tee-off from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
