Usually held in the last week of October, witness LU’s ocean waves at the La Union Surfing Break on October 25 to 27 at San Juan, La Union. The anticipated event takes pride in its line-up of fun activities related to surf, music, food, and art. Don’t forget to take part in preserving the environment by joining the clean-up drive and plastic collection activity. Gears are available to those who are interested to participate in the clean-up activity.

The Official Animal Rights March (October 26)

Take a stand and fight for animals’ rights at the Official Animal Rights March Manila (TOARM) on October 26, which will begin at 1 p.m from Taft Avenue passing Quirino, Mabini, and Rizal Park to Katigbak drive. Surge, a grassroots animal rights organization, holds this event yearly with an aim to eradicate animal abuse around the globe. This 2019, 32 cities joined the march to support the stand of one another. Additionally, local animal rights activists and organizations will discuss animal issues such as animal liberation and animal rights activism.

Outbreak Manila (October 26)

Save yourselves as zombies will run after you at the Outbreak Manila, happening on October 26 at Filinvest City Events Ground, Muntinlupa City. Come in with your best Halloween costume for a more memorable Halloween experience. Before the race starts, you will be given three flags that represent the participants’ lives. You only have three lives so run as fast as you can before the zombies catch you!

Manila Glee Club Concert (October 26)

European Higher Education Fair 2019 (October 26-28)

Live up your dream of studying abroad at European Higher Education Fair 2019 on October 26 at the Grand Atrium, Shangri-la Plaza in Mandaluyong City. With a theme of Study in Europe: EUr Journey to Excellence, EHEF will feature more than 30 universities and Higher Education Institutions from European Union countries, allowing students to learn directly from EU universities and representatives regarding their study programs and presentations. Van Gogh Alive (October 26-December 8)

Finally, the long wait is over! Van Gogh Alive will officially open its doors on October 26 at One Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City. Catch Van Gogh’s masterpieces from his works in Arles, Saint Rémy, and Auvers-sur-Oise in France. Tickets are now available at The Mind Museum ticket booth from Tuesday to Sunday, 9 a.m to 5 p.m. The exhibition will run until December 8.
