    Finders Keepers

    Finders Keepers is one of the well-known spots for those who frequent the Makati night scene. What makes the bar unique is that they don’t allow smoking, providing an after-work sanctuary for non-smokers.

    Here’s another eccentric destination in the party district of Poblacion. Serving as a cafe during the day and transforming into a bar at night, Dulo MNL offers everything from coffee to specialty cocktails and even non-alcoholic drinks for a chill night without the buzz.

    Penthouse 8747 

    Overlooking the Makati skyline is Penthouse 8747, a rooftop lounge inspired by the art deco period or the Great Gatsby era best characterized with a lot of gold, glam, and glitz. The lavish bar has a wide selection of drinks from champagnes and cocktails to Penthouse original beverages, cognac, and malt whiskeys.

    Priding themselves as the first-ever rum bar in the Metro, Buccaneers Bar and Cocktails Bar offers over 180 rum selections and 10 specially crafted cocktails. The bar, designed like a crashed ship, aims to introduce everything about rum to the Poblacion crowd.

A good example of this is the sophisticated neo-Filipino bistro Lampara. They also have plenty of signature cocktails with names that are as unique as to how they were created.

    In 2011, the Philippines was introduced to its first-ever speakeasy bar through the mysterious and enigmatic Blind Pig. Aside from exquisitely crafted cocktails, the speakeasy bar has a highly experimental menu of comfort bites, some of which are modified requests of the customers.

    Pedro Tap House

    A seemingly unassuming tap house, Pedro Tap House cradles the night owls of the Poblacion area within its cozy walls. It offers a uniquely delicious food menu that goes well with glasses of their own crafted beers.

    78-45-33 serves quality cocktails in a dimmed environment, accompanied by jazz music in Salcedo Village. The large speakers at the far end of the bar were built in the ‘60s, which complement the huge collection of vinyl records atop the wine choices.
