A wine bar housing 150 types of the best wine, Dr. Wine’s collection are personally tasted and chosen by the French sommelier owners Vincent and Eva LandaisJean Philippe Guillot of AWC Wines Philippines, and Simon Côté of Apotheke Craft Spirits Co. The wine bar opened last August 2017, which easily became of the most sought-after wine bars around the metro not just with because of the wines they serve, but also with their freshly imported cold cuts.

A certified favorite of Filipinos, The Doctor’s Platter cheese and cold cuts are a variety of cold cuts all imported from France and Germany, while their Pâté and mousse are homemade. The Chicken liver mousse, on the other hand, has maple syrup which gives it a sweet flavor.

For appetizers, Dr. Wine also has Salmon Rillettes, served with mustard, pickles, and Salad Artisan Bread or you can try Foie Gras Au Torchon with Armagnac served with Apple Chutney and Artisan bread.

If you’re craving for a steak to pair with your glass of wine, you can try the California Bandt Hanging Tender steak, lean meat served with red rice flavored with chorizo and cheese. It has an intense flavor and is best with wine salt (a salt boiled with wine until liquid evaporates, then roasted to completely dry out).

For those who want to skip meats, Dr. Wine also serves vegetarian dishes like Griller Veggie Lasagna. The dish is not vegan because it contains three types of cheese such as parmesan, ricotta, and Emmental but it has no meat and the veggies are all roasted to give a fuller taste.

While you can enjoy a private dining room on the third floor complete with the sala, kitchen and long table, guests can also enjoy the open air on the Kartel Roofdeck Bar where they can enjoy cocktails.
