  • Opened in 2005, Hanakazu is well-known in B.F. Homes for its authentic and exquisite Japanese dishes. It is a family business and run by Chef Otsuka and his wife Lorna. They named the restaurant after their first 2 children – Hana and Kazu.

    Hanakazu also boasts of roughly 40 kinds of appetizers. Their best sellers are the fresh sushi and sashimi which are produced daily. Aside from that, they have a wide variety of noodles, rice bowls, and fried dishes.

    Japanese Wagyu Calvi (Php 1,100)

    Gyutan Shioyaki or Salt-grilled Beef Tongue (Php 650)

    They use a homemade seasoning sauce specially made and formulated by the owner’s mother who is residing in Japan. The beef they serve and almost all the ingredients are also imported from Japan.

    Hanakazu has a private room that can accommodate up to 24 people and is often used by Japanese businessmen who work in Laguna. There is also a new Yakiniku Room, opened in 2017, which features barbecue tables where customers can enjoy grilling Japanese-style BBQ.
