  • A rare treat along Dela Rosa Street in Makati is one cafe you should not overlook. Situated in Legaspi Village, Dean and Deluca serves not only coffee– but also must-try dishes that are exceptionally healthy and organic.

    Named after its business owners Joel Dean and Giorgio DeLuca, this cafe has a passion for food of incomparable quality and tasteobviously seen in their foods such as the Butifarra Con Salsa Funghi e Tartufo (Php 470). Sprinkled with parsley and topped with basil, the pasta is made more delicious with Butifarra sausage, fresh mushroom, and truffle cream.

    With its al dente pastawhich is neither hard nor soft but is firm and slightly chewyyou will savor how unmistakable Italian pasta really is. The pasta is ordered from the ancient and famed Morelli Pasta Factory that uses traditional artisan techniques, incorporating wheat germ into the pasta.

    Additionally, Dean and Deluca boasts of their bread and pizza using sourdough made by fermenting for about 48 hours. Sweets such as bagels and croissants, muffins and cakes are likewise lined up in the shop.
