Neil’s Kitchen is a restaurant owned by Chef Neil Ramos, a chef renowned in the catering business for more than 15 years. It serves Filipino cuisine with a modern twist, as the dishes they serve are not the usual ones you see in other eating hubs.

Take for example their best-selling Sinigang Paella with Grilled Pork Belly, which is a hit because of its interesting take on Filipino sour stew sinigang made into a Spanish rice dish paella. They’ve been innovating Filipino dishes with adding their own twist to and adding different flavorful components.

Who says you can’t teach an old dish new tricks? Neil’s Kitchen’s Grilled Boneless Chicken Inasal brings the beloved Bacolod street food right to your plate with a smoky twist. Perfectly grilled with just the right amount of char, and marinated in a special blend that’s both tangy and a tad sweet, it’s served hot and will surely transport you straight to the Visayan flavor town!

End your meal with its Fried Suman, Mangga, and Chocnut! This is suman getting a crispy makeover, topped with mango and sprinkled liberally with Chocnut pieces for a nostalgic factor. Every bite is a sweet throwback that will have you reminiscing about your merienda in your younger days.

What made it the talk of the town aside from the food would be their quirky interiors, with playful food quotes painted on their walls. There’s also a book shop inside called My Father’s Bookstore, in case you want to drop by after a sumptuous meal. This inviting atmosphere, combined with the creatively reimagined dishes, ensures a memorable meal for diners looking for something beyond the typical Filipino fare.
