  • Korean dishes are becoming more popular in the food scene in Manila nowadays, but there have already been a few Korean restaurants located in Manila even before the recent trend. One of these is Kaya, a Korean casual dining restaurant in Jupiter Street in Makati. Kaya Korean Restaurant opened in 1993 and has branched out to six other locations to offer authentic Korean food to everyone.

    Kaya’s interior is light and homey

    Known for their Kalbi Jim (Korean short ribs), Haemul Pajeon 9Seafood Pancake, and Bibimbap, Kaya Korean Restaurant takes pride in being the favorite go-to dining place of many golfers coming from Manila Golf and Country Club during weekends.

    Their main branch in Jupiter street has six private rooms that can accommodate groups of up to 80 people. Being in the Makati CBD area and having many branches, they also became a popular weekday lunch spot for a lot of guests. With this, it’s safe to say that Kaya is one of the most tried and tested when it comes to Korean dishes.

    Other branches of Kaya Korean restaurant are in Glorietta 4, Robinsons Place, Paseo Center, Power Plant Mall, SM Megamall, and The Podium. The Jupiter branch is open from 10:30 am to 2 pm and from 5:30 pm to 11 pm daily.
