Established after World War II, The Original Salido introduces you to the diversity of Chinese cuisine, which is one important component of China’s rich culture.

This restaurant offers a vast array of authentic Chinese dishes ranging from noodles to dim sum. Salido promises to serve tasty specialties that will make you feel as if you’re dining in a charming place in China. To name a few, they are known for their Asado, carefully-cooked pork bursting out with its meaty flavor. The sweet-tangy flavor of the sauce perfectly complements the dish.

For a satisfying and hearty dish, opt to get the 3 Cups Chicken in Hotpot (Small Php 310, Large Php 620). This one’s a popular specialty in China and Taiwan.

Don’t miss out on the Hong Ma with Cuapao (Php 380) as well. It is eaten like a sandwich by putting the pork inside the sliced cuapao, and for extra flavor, we suggest you dip the cuapao into the Hong Ma sauce.

Another notable thing about The Original Salido is its unique way of preparing coffee through the Siphon method where coffee is brewed using two chambers through vapor pressure and gravity. What better way to enjoy your Chinese favorites than sipping fine coffee, right?

The Original Salido embraces a warm vibe as seen in their humble interior. As you enter the dining space, you’ll be able to see big round tables just like in other Chinese restaurants.
