  • Ayala Festival of Lights Partners With Disney Philippines for their 10th Anniversary
  • Ayala Land’s Festival of Lights is celebrating its 10th Anniversary, and for this year, they are partnering with The Walt Disney Company Philippines in bringing a magical holiday to remember. Experience the tradition anew with the theme “Reimagine The Magic: A Festival of Lights” starting November 9 at Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati.

This year will feature a larger than life Mickey-shaped structure at the heart of the park.

Christmas celebrations in the Philippines are filled with traditions, including a visit to the Festival of Lights. This Christmas light and music show has annually been held at the Ayala Triangle Gardens featuring award-winning composers and lighting effects by Mr. Voltaire de Jesus. This 2018, they will serve guests a light show like never before.

Each Ayala Land estate will have an exciting take on the Festival of Lights.

The magic of Disney is identified by classical animated movies showing brave, young, and inspiring characters that Ayala wishes to share with this season.

Starting November 9, expect to listen to well-lived Disney soundtracks such as “When You Wish Upon a Star”, “Beauty and the Beast”, and “Let It Go” in an orchestral rendition by composer and former musical director of Hong Kong Disneyland, Mr. Rony Fortich.

“The partnership with Disney comes at a most momentous time for us as we celebrate our 30th year as a company and the 10th year of the Festival of Lights,” Senior Vice President of Ayala Land Meean B. Dy said in a press release.

Moreover, Country Head of The Walt Disney Company Philippines Veronica Cabalinan said: “By weaving our well-loved soundtracks to Ayala Land’s festivities, we hope to bring magical moments to families and Disney fans of all ages.”

Voltaire de Jesus has been choreographing the lights in Ayala Triangle since its start in 2008.

Reimagine The Magic: A Festival of Lights will be present in six Ayala Land estates all over the country starting on these dates:
November 9 – Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati
November 9 – Ayala Malls Centrio, Cagayan de Oro
November 10 – Ayala Center Cebu
November 15 – Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City
November 24 – Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna
November 29 – Vertis North, Quezon City

de Jesus updates the Festival of Lights and introduces new technology such as lasers and 3D mapping, which he will be using for this year’s show.

Expect to listen to three medleys: Princess Medley accompanied by a light show representing the colors of each iconic princesses, the Frozen Medley reflecting the ice castle and snowstorm, and finally, the Mickey Mouse Medley celebrating the icon and his beginning in Steamboat Mickey.

Children and child at heart will be pleased to listen and experience the magic of Disney in a new way. See you at the park and let us Reimagine the Magic: A Festival of Lights!
