The Eros Eclipse (Php 550), created in partnership with 1834 Gin, combines strawberry and lychee layered over gin and balanced with a citrus twist. Sweet, juicy, and slightly tart, the cocktail finishes with a luscious and captivating character.
Also developed with 1834 Gin, the Prima Bliss (Php 550) offers a smoother and more indulgent profile. Vanilla and peach bring a soft, creamy sweetness, while lemon adds a refreshing lift, resulting in a bright and well-balanced cocktail.
Guests looking for a drink inspired by local flavors may order The Filipino Kuneksiyon (from Php 400). The cocktail brings together brandy, amaretto liqueur, and fresh calamansi juice for a vibrant combination that celebrates Filipino flavors in every sip.

For something more filling, the VU’s Wagyu Burger (from Php 1,400) features a 1/3-pound Wagyu beef patty topped with cheddar, smoky bacon, grilled pineapple, and fresh toppings. It is served with French fries, making it a substantial choice for dinner or a late-night meal alongside cocktails.

The culinary direction of VU’s Sky Bar & Lounge is led by Executive Chef Alex Ensor, a New Zealand-born culinary professional with nearly three decades of international experience.

Throughout his career, Chef Ensor has worked across Australasia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. He has led award-winning restaurants and managed multicultural culinary teams within luxury hospitality environments. His culinary philosophy combines refined techniques with approachable dining. He places particular emphasis on seasonality, locally sourced ingredients, and clean, well-balanced flavors.
Since joining Marco Polo Ortigas Manila, Chef Ensor has introduced a refreshed culinary direction across the hotel’s dining outlets, focusing on craftsmanship, quality, and memorable guest experiences.
Event Spaces Above the City
VU’s Sky Bar & Lounge also provides versatile event venues for corporate gatherings, celebratory social occasions, exclusive product reveals, business mixers, and private parties, all framed by expansive views of the Metro Manila skyline.
The Main Lounge can accommodate 70 seated guests or 90 guests for a standing event. The Rizal Area, also known as the Loud Zone, has a seated capacity of 80 guests and a standing capacity of 90 guests. Meanwhile, the Manila Area, designated as the Quiet Zone, can host 50 seated guests or 70 standing guests.

For larger gatherings, the Main Lounge and Manila Area may be combined to accommodate 120 seated guests or 160 guests for a standing reception. An exclusive venue buyout of the whole VU’s Sky Bar & Lounge can accommodate up to 200 seated guests or 250 standing guests.
Positioned on opposite wings of the open-air deck, the Rizal Area and Manila Area each have independent bar services. The Rizal Area carries the more energetic ambiance of the lounge and its live musical acts, making it suited for lively celebrations and social events. In contrast, the Manila Area provides a quieter retreat accompanied by soft music. Its more relaxed environment is designed for focused conversations, business discussions, and serene evenings above the city.

Private function arrangements are available throughout the week, with minimum spending requirements determined by the selected space and nature of the event. Bespoke menus and beverage selections may also be customized for business mixers, private parties, and full venue buyouts.
