NBA Cafe Manila
The first ever NBA Cafe is found in SM Aura Premier, Taguig. You might immediately think that this is a sports bar for basketball fanatics. However, when you go inside, the restaurant is very spacious and family-friendly. The interior is, of course, inspired by the prominent men’s basketball league in North America, NBA (or National Basketball Association).
The chairs and sofas have the same texture of a basketball. They have installed flat screen TV’s in all corners which air sports events.
They do not only display basketball memorabilia and replicas but also sell it to whoever is interested.
At the opening of NBA Cafe just April of this year, basketball superstar Gordon Hayward of Utah Jazz and WNBA legend Tina Thompson were present.
The menu mostly consists of American food. This was conceptualized by the NBA and was even served to the NBA superstars.
One of the best sellers is the Lemon Brined Roasted Chicken with mashed potatoes, pickled onion, guacamole, and salsa (Php 450).
