KIJI Bakehouse stands as one of Bonifacio Global City’s most beloved neighborhood bakeries, but its story begins long before the first batch of croissants came out of the oven.

Its founder, Ms. Charyn Lim, spent over a decade working as an art director, building brands, shaping campaigns, and following a creative path many would consider a dream career. Beyond her design career, she also studied pastry arts at Ferrandi Paris and trained at the prestigious Pâtisserie Carl Marletti, deepening her understanding of French techniques and craftsmanship.

By 2022, after years in the design industry, she felt a growing desire to create something more tangible, something that could offer comfort and joy in people’s everyday lives. This calling eventually led her to open KIJI Bakehouse.

Today, the bakehouse continues to thrive, baking breads and pastries that are handmade in small batches using premium French ingredients, including Elle & Vire butter.

Upon entering KIJI Bakehouse, guests are greeted by a warm and abundant display of freshly baked goods. One side features an array of breads, from hearty corn loaves to sweet and savory croissants, beautifully arranged to showcase their craftsmanship.

On the opposite side, customers will find an enticing selection of Danish pastries, pizzas, and their playful signature “croissandwich,” a delightful fusion of croissant and sandwich.

For something heartier and more flavorful, the Croissant Dog is a standout choice, featuring a premium sausage wrapped in their signature croissant and finished with Dijon mustard, parsley, parmesan, and mozzarella.

Rounding out their must-try selections are the Mini Honey Butters, a delightful pack of eight mini honey butter croissants inspired by the team’s childhood trips to Japan.
