Galileo is really popular among locals. If you see the restaurant crowded, expect that there are a lot of wine orders placed. The wine offered is not limited to Italian. Each is carefully selected. Their Pinot noir is the most popular. It costs P1,245 per bottle. The wine selection is made to match the dishes offered. The ingredients for their food menu like olive oil, spices, ham and cheese are imported from Italy. The salami and ham with cheese tastes moderately salty and is best matched with wine because it’s not too dry. Another popular dish is the risotto con porcini (photo 1) that has porcini mushrooms with plenty of blue cheese and Parmesan cheese. The taste is just wonderful!
