Grandad’s Grill & Deli
Grandad’s Grill and Deli is a home kitchen type of restaurant that offers freshly mizono-style grilled steaks and different international cuisines for a reasonable price. It is owned by famous Filipina TV Host Mariel Rodriguez’s grandfather, Mr. Rafael Sazon.
Even if Grandad’s only opened in 2011, Mr. Sazon is not a newbie in the food business. He ran a Japanese restaurant and a steak business back in ’84. Until now, he is still selling raw steaks in Grandad’s and supplies other restaurants in the metro. The meats are imported from Australia. They sell it at around P1.00 per 1.25 grams.
Lamb Chops (250 to 350 grams, P1.75 per gram)
One of their best-sellers is the Lamb Chops (Photo 1). It is sold at P1.75 per gram. It is high-quality and has no evidence of mutton-specific features.
Baked Oysters (P190)
From their seafood menu, we recommend the creamy baked oysters (Photo 2) and the spicy gambas al ajillo. For their steak menu, they serve rib-eye and prime rib. It is best paired with their Adriana steak sauce – a homemade sauce made using their own recipe.
