  • A Cup for Lola in Legazpi Village, Makati is a cozy coffee shop created as a tribute to Lola Mary, built on the idea that sharing a cup of coffee brings people together.

Founded by Jomar Monzon, the café was inspired by family moments, meaningful conversations, and the warmth of home. The story behind A Cup for Lola comes from the founder’s life with his Lola (grandmother) and his upbringing in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Every detail—from the drinks to the overall atmosphere—was thoughtfully designed to evoke nostalgia, comfort, and familiarity, much like the feeling of gathering in Lola’s house. It’s a space meant for the daily commute, quiet reflection, and genuine connection.

The café is best known for its four signature espresso drinks, each rooted in personal memories and flavors from California. The San Francisco Mocha (Php 230) combines rich chocolate with espresso and is topped with sea salt cream, inspired by the Bay Area’s crisp ocean air.

Their Earl Grey Latte (Php 220), is made with oat milk and house-made syrup, blends tea and coffee into a comforting balance of calm and energy.

The Honey Graham Latte (Php 220) captures the cozy sweetness of honey graham crackers—reminiscent of childhood snacks lovingly offered by Lola.

Meanwhile, the California Cold Brew (Php 230)  features espresso mixed with house-made orange syrup, bringing bright, citrusy nostalgia in every sip.

Alongside these specialties, guests can enjoy classic espresso favorites such as Americano, Café Latte, and Spanish Latte. Non-coffee drinkers are also well catered to with refreshing options like the Orange Cooler made with soda water and house-made orange syrup, rich Hot Chocolate, and a selection of hot teas.

To pair with every drink, A Cup for Lola offers carefully chosen pastries, including its best-selling Cinnamon Bun, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Croissant, and Pain au Chocolat.

The café can seat up to eight guests and is available for private or semi-private events. Those interested in hosting gatherings can reach out through info@acupforlola.com.
