Sweet Ecstasy in Makati: Making Burgers Awesome
Sweet Ecstasy, also known as Sweet X, is a burger joint along Jupiter Street in Makati known for its made-to-order burgers, wings, fries, onion rings, milkshakes, and more.

Sweet X’s flagship store along Jupiter Street helped define the brand’s personality. With its funny posters, signature red chairs, and open-air charm, the Makati branch became a casual neighborhood spot where guests can enjoy burgers, fries, wings, and milkshakes in a laid-back setting.

At the center of Sweet X is its focus on fresh and tasty burgers. The buns are a hybrid of a butter bun and brioche bun, giving them a soft texture, while the patties are made fresh every morning using locally sourced meat from Batangas.
Among its staples is The Cheeseburger (Php 290), a classic burger made with lettuce, tomato, Ecstasy sauce, and the customer’s choice of onions.

For something more indulgent, The Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger (Php 380) features one thick and juicy patty with garlic aioli, cheese, and two grilled cheese sandwiches used as buns.

Another fan favorite is the The Seriously Good Burger, which was launched during Sweet X’s 10th year. It features two thin 1/8-lb patties smashed on the griddle with cheese, ketchup, mustard, dill pickle slices, and minced onions. The burger marked the brand’s milestone and has since become one of its well-loved offerings.

Sweet Ecstasy was founded by Al Galang and Monica Francesca Tobias. Originally launched in 2012 as a milk and cookie shop in Cubao X, the founders quickly pivoted and expanded into burgers, eventually growing the brand into one of Metro Manila’s most celebrated burger joints.
Just like some other burger joints, they have secret burgers that you can order, although you need to make sure to follow and check their social media accounts to see what they are.
