In the last few years, The Moment Group (TMG) has earned a reputation for its unique restaurant concepts—burger combinations have been improved through 8Cuts, Filipino food has been made more colorful in Manam, and Japanese small plates have become more interesting at Ooma.

Known for its culinary innovations, TMG is in constant search of food ideas that are proudly new and well-executed.

Located on the ground floor of Moplex—TMG’s headquarters and central kitchens, Mess Hall is one of their restaurants that has been rapidly expanding food movement along Pasong Tamo Extension in Makati City.

Mess Hall acts as a modern cafeteria complete with self-service counters and long communal tables. With a very spacious area and minimal wood and bark design interiors, this restaurant will surely attract customers for its interesting setup.

    The Mess Hall

Mess Hall serves as TMG’s private playground housing all its restaurant brands and its must-try dishes. This includes Manam’s House-style Sisig, 8Cut’s Burger Bomb, Ooma’s Cheese Katsu Curry, Shawa Wama’s Primo Beef, and more.

An all-time favorite is their House-style Sisig (Php 255). This sizzling Filipino dish is one you should order if you love Manam’s roster of dishes. It is served with crunchy chicharon (fried pork belly) bits and egg on top.

This dish is best paired with Manam’s Sinigang na Beef Short Rib with Watermelon (Php 365).

Meanwhile, 8Cuts Burger Bomb (Php 260) is another dish that will satisfy your cravings for some 8Cuts goodness! A plate of this dish consists of cheese-stuffed patty, rice, and egg with a generous amount of pepper cream gravy.

Other familiar must-tries are Ooma’s Cheese Katsudon (Php 345) made with mozzarella-stuffed pork loin and house curry, Housemade Bacon Carbonara (Php 245), and Grilled Three-Cheese Sandwich.
