  • Phoenix Court Chinese Restaurant in Alabang: World-Class Chinese Fusion Recipes
  • The elegance of Phoenix Court at the Bellevue Hotel in Alabang had us really excited with what they offer as a Chinese restaurant.

Its spacious and well-lit fine dining area with shades of orange gives off a stimulating atmosphere which is in perfect harmony with the delicious food they serve. Each table can seat about six (6) to eight (8) people, which makes it an ideal place to celebrate family gatherings and special occassions.

The restaurant’s name, Phoenix, is a kind of bird that symbolizes good luck and prosperity in Chinese mythology. They say that many people who come here to dine feel lucky—and so did we, as we got to taste what they have prepared for us.

While many restaurants tend to focus on a particular regional cuisine, Phoenix Court seeks to sing a different tune. “The food-loving Filipinos are our inspiration in putting together a fusion which Phoenix Court offers,” says Chef Cheong Kwan Loong. With a menu that’s quite liberal, their Asian-Chinese fusion dishes have become the highlight of their restaurant.

Their Stir-Fried French Beans with Minced Pork. Made with green beans and sauteed minced pork, their version of this healthy Chinese dish is as savory and flavorful as it can get.

Their Steamed Pampano with Choi Po and Dry Shrimp is a delicate and flavorful dish.

The fish is delicately steamed to retain its moisture and tenderness, complemented by the unique taste of choi po (preserved radish) and the umami richness of dry shrimp. It is then garnished with fresh herbs and sliced red bell peppers and served with a light soy-based sauce that highlights the fish’s natural flavors.

Phoenix Court’s Beef Tenderloin with Black Pepper Sauce is a sumptuous dish that highlights tender, perfectly cooked beef tenderloin. The meat is generously coated in a rich, aromatic black pepper sauce that adds a spicy and robust flavor. Served on a pastry shell with a side of vegetables, this makes for a hearty and satisfying entree.

We also loved Phoenix Court’s Deep-Fried Prawn Ball with Salted Egg. Made with tiger prawn, this dish is mildly sweet and salty and is bursting with flavor in every bite.

And while you’re at it, don’t forget to try Phoenix Court’s Dim Sum-All-You-Can to make the most out of your Chinese culinary experience in Alabang!
