Originating from Shaanxi, China, Roujiamo is a traditional street food consisting of slow-cooked, seasoned meat served inside a crispy flatbread. Often referred to as the “Chinese hamburger” its history dates back more than 2,000 years, making it one of the world’s oldest sandwiches. Originally enjoyed by travelers and workers, Roujiamo remains one of China’s most recognized street foods.
