    Known to serve premium Omi beef directly supplied from Shiga Prefecture in Japan, HIRO Japanese Yakiniku Restaurant in Makati is ready to satisfy your wagyu cravings on Christmas, December 25, with shortened hours, from their regular operating schedule of 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

    Make sure to get your fill of those succulent wagyu offerings, as HIRO Japanese Yakiniku will be closed on December 31 and January 1, 2024, to celebrate the holiday season.

    Menya Ippondo will also shorten their hours on Christmas day, from their original schedule of 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. (Monday to Friday) and 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. (Saturday and Sunday). The ramen restaurant will also be taking a short break from December 31 to January 2, 2024.

    Located at Aseana City in Parañaque, Genba Kappouryouri is a traditional Japanese fine dining restaurant that allows guests to witness the chef’s culinary creations coming to life with Genba’s open kitchen.

    Unakichi

    There’s only one place to go if you are looking for authentic unagi or eel dishes in Metro Manila: Unakichi at Makati Central Square! With eels sourced directly from farms in Japan, Unakichi is sure to provide the freshest and best-tasting unagi dishes in the Metro.

    A favorite among the Japanese community in Manila, Sekitori is an authentic Japanese restaurant, with branches in Little Tokyo and Ortigas. They serve hearty nabe (hot pots), tonkatsu (deep-fried pork cutlet), katsudon (pork cutlet rice bowl), and even ramen.
