  • It’s a no-brainer that traveling is one of the things that people enjoy. Some of us travel for leisure, some for business, while others for self-discovery. The fact that we can discover so many things along the way is one of the most gratifying aspects of traveling alongside meeting new and amazing people.

But there are some of us who prefer to sit back, relax, and travel through the eyes of other people—that’s where documentaries, movies, and TV shows come in. While we might not have experienced the journey first hand, discovering new things through this medium is just as exciting.

Here are some travel & adventure shows that you can stream on Netflix Philippines:

    Earth’s Natural Wonders

Earth’s Natural Wonders, as the name suggests, explores some of the Earth’s most spectacular places. It also tackles how these landscapes molded the lives of their inhabitants, who have learned to survive and flourish despite the harshest of conditions.

    Dark Tourist

Dark Tourist, hosted by journalist David Farrier, talks about the phenomenon of dark tourism. Dark Tourism—also called Black Tourism or Grief Tourism—is the exploration of places that are historically associated with death and tragedy. David Farrier’s touring takes him across continents from the United States and Europe to Asia and Africa.

    Tales by Light

Tales by Light unites exploration, photography, and the natural world as Australian photographers tour around the world and push the limits of their craft. These artists attempt to capture the perfect image that will show audiences our planet in a new light.

    Street Food

Food is among the highlights into knowing one’s culture. Street Food explores some of the world’s most colorful cities, its inhabitants, culture—and of course, their food.

This show was inspired by Nosrat’s best-selling book of the same name and features tours to Italy, Japan, and Mexico.

    Expedition Happiness

Expedition Happiness follows Felix Starck and Selima Taibi, who along with their dog, embark on an epic road trip that takes them across North America.

    Given

Given is the contemplative story of the Goodwin family legacy, which takes them from their island home to 15 different countries around the world. Through the memories of a child, the movie explores the young boy’s understanding of life through their reverence for nature and family bonds.

    Unbranded

Four men and sixteen mustangs ride border to border—Mexico to Canada and up the spine of the West. Unbranded follows college buddies as they set out on an adventure of a lifetime. They must navigate through a 3000-mile gauntlet that can be described as indescribable and unforgiving.
