JINS in SM Aura: A Look into Japan’s Biggest Eyewear Brand
JINS recently had their grand opening in SM Aura, and we got a better view of what they have to offer in the Philippines.
JINS, the biggest and one of the most popular eyewear in Japan, just opened their first store in the Philippines at SM Aura Premier in Taguig this April. The said eyewear brand is known for their vision to “Magnify Life,” encouraging people to change the way how people view the world.
Known for their quality-assured high-index aspheric lenses, JINS makes sure that their products uphold standards. Bringing their best eyewear in Manila, JINS seeks to introduce their products with reasonable price and utmost value.
JINS’ grand opening on May 25 was attended by various Japanese businesspersons and distinguished guests. Gracing the event is JINS Founder and CEO Hitoshi Tanaka, who introduced what JINS has to offer to the Philippine market. Tanaka also mentioned his gratitude to Chinese-Filipino tycoon Ben Chan of Suyen Corporation, for partnering with JINS in bringing the brand to the country.

The highlight of the event would be the Kagami biraki, a traditional Japanese ceremony. Key officials from JINS as well as Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano did the act of breaking open sake barrels for “good fortune.”
