  • Experience nature at its best: Astoria Palawan
  • Palawan has long been known as the Philippines’s final frontier. There are lots of resorts to choose from, all of them boasting different facilities and amenities that cater to almost every guest. A new resort, however, has made its way into Palawan’s best: Astoria Palawan Resort.

    welcome

WELCOME TO ECO PARADISE. Welcome to Astoria Palawan.

Located an hour and a half away from Puerto Princesa International Airport, Astoria Palawan is your ideal hotel in the country’s final frontier. It’s located right on Honda Beach, one of Puerto Princesa’s best beaches, and is a great jump-off point for all things Puerto Princesa: the Underground River, Iwahig Penal Colony, Baker’s Hill, and a lot more.

Astoria Palawan is an eco-friendly resort through and through. Its rustic yet modern architecture fits perfectly within the 5-hectare mango orchard it sits in. Astoria has taken the liberty of constructing a retention pond to contain overflow from the nearby creek, which they then use for irrigation and recreation (fishing).

LUXURY DINING WITH A VIEW. Their Dining Pavilion is more than just a restaurant: it’s a dining experience.

Apart from the pond, the resort also has its own 35-meter infinity pool located in front of their spectacular Dining Pavilion, the resort’s in-house restaurant. Dine in full view of the Sulu Sea, whether indoor or al fresco.

RUSTIC YET MODERN. These rooms will surely keep you coming back to Astoria Palawan.

The resort has 40 rooms split between 3 categories: studio/deluxe rooms, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom suites. Each room is equipped with modern conveniences like air conditioning, an LCD TV with cable, complimentary internet access, etc. Guests also get breakfast included for the duration of their stay.

Astoria Palawan also owns and operates Palawan Waterpar, the first water park facility on the island. It’s open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and has several pools, slides, a marine sanctuary, river ride pool, a wall climbing facility, and its own restaurant.

All these combined make Astoria Palawan one of the best resorts you can stay in for your trip.
