  • Vitalis Villas in Ilocos Sur Mirrors Magical Island of Santorini Greece
  • Updated as of March 26, 2021

Entering through the gateway of Ilocos Sur may mean traveling back to the Philippines’ olden days—all because of the province’s heritage sites and Hispanic towns.

However, what perhaps may be unknown to expats is that the town holds more than meets the eye with the ever-captivating Vitalis Villas, seating majestically along Santiago Cove in Ilocos Sur.

Known to many as the “Santorini of the North”, Vitalis Villas mirrors that of the famous landscape of Santorini in Greece with its cubiform villas painted in a wash of white and blue.

Each villa is awash in white and touches of blue, mirroring that of Santorini’s cubiform houses

This mountain of elegant villas named after the owner’s favorite local painter with French origins, Macario Vitalis, can be considered as the most luxurious and scenic among the many accommodations in Ilocos.

Vitalis Villas is backdropped against Santiago Cove’s blue waters and its surrounding hills, adding to its picturesque characteristics

These villas that overlook the sea are also a work of art as they sport many pieces from the country’s most sought-after artists namely Ben Cabrera, Fred Baldemor, and Macario Vitalis himself.

Fred Baldemor, who owns a villa inside Vitalis, has a collection of his sculptures particularly in their function hall named after the Parthenon

Whereas Santorini in Greece requires you to ride a cable car for you to reach the place, Vitalis Villas in Ilocos Sur is but a few hours drive from Manila. It surely is accessible to every guest who desires a luxurious stay in one of the country’s popular tourist destinations!

For a one of a kind experience, stay with your family in any of their luxurious villas designed in Greek architecture, equipped with a spacious bedroom, an ultramodern bathroom, and other luxurious amenities including flat-screen cable television, well-stocked mini bar, and luxurious bathrobes and towels.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are also free for the in-house guests staying at Vitalis Villas.

Petra inside Vitalis Villas is their main buffet restaurant serving both local and international cuisines

Petra’s dining area overlooks the Santiago Cove outside, offering diners a great view

Moreover, Vitalis Villas’ Superior Room comes to mind for a meaningful vacation with your significant other. This room gives off a quiet and private atmosphere with its alcoves sporting comfortable seats within.

For a group of four, on the other hand, Vitalis Villas offers you the elegance of the Deluxe Room with two queen-sized beds or the luxury of their One Bedroom Villa with its own living area, veranda, dining area, and kitchen.

For those who want the luxury of pool access or an outdoor jacuzzi, guests may also opt to stay at the Two Bedroom Villa with Pool Access or the Two Bedroom Jacuzzi Villa, which overlooks the South China Sea.

Finally, Vitalis Villas also offers accommodation for your whole family by letting you stay in their Three Bedroom Villa with Private Pool with a flat-screen television for each bedroom and living areas!
