Filing of Annual Report 2018 ends in seven days
Heads up, expat friends! You have seven days to complete your Annual Report for 2018!
SCENES FROM THE 2017 ANNUAL REPORT
In a press release dated January 31, 2018, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) reminded all foreign nationals registered with the agency that they have until March 1 to go to the nearest BI Field Office in their locality and make their 2018 Annual Report.
BI Commissioner Jaime H. Morente said the period for the Annual Report is non-extendible and warned that any foreigner registered with the bureau who fails to comply will be slapped with a fine of Php 200 per month of delay or be prosecuted for violating the country’s Alien Registration Law.
The 1951 Alien Registration Act requires all BI-registered foreigners to report in person to any of the designated BI Field, Satellite or Extension offices within the first 60 days of every calendar year. If you’re reading this and you are overseas, you must make your report within 30 days from the date of your return, provided you have valid re-entry permits.
Make sure you have your original ACR I-Card and your confirmation number with you if you made an appointment via the bureau’s 2018 Annual Report online system. Parents or guardians of foreigners aged 14 and below, on the other hand, should accomplish the minor’s Annual Report for them.
Application forms, guidelines, and information on how to do the 2018 Annual Report can be downloaded from the BI website at www.immigration.gov.ph.
