  • A twist on old favorites and the addition of soon-to-be’s: Crisp on 28th’s new menu
  • Crisp on 28th, a small restaurant located along 28th Street in BGC, started off as a coffee shop that served healthy food. They’ve been dishing out several weekly specials over the last two years which have now become officially part of their menu.

NEW MENU AT CRISP ON 28TH. Everyone enjoyed their grub at Crisp on 28th’s new menu launch today.

A completely revamped menu was shown to bloggers and other members of the media earlier today, December 9, featuring old favorites and new flavors from Chef Siggy and Chef Randy that will leave you wanting more. Here are some of the new dishes you can expect from Crisp on 28th:

Salmon and Cauliflower Tabouleh Salad. A refreshing start, and take, on your bog-standard salad. Yours for only P520.

Their Salmon and Cauliflower Tabouleh Salad is a great way to start any dish… or serve as a full meal in itself. Its packed will all the goodness you want from a salad: crispy mixed greens, perfectly cooked salmon, and spikes of flavor from the cumin seeds and roasted pumpkin. Yes, it has roasted pumpkin, and it works really well with the salad!

SALTED EGG & HAM PRESSED SANDWICH. A blend of sweet and savory, this is the perfect brunch or post-workout meal at only P320.

Sometimes, you have to make things as simple as possible for you to fully appreciate its flavors. A salted egg and ham pressed sandwich is just that: simple, yet full of flavor. Toss in a handful of sweet potato chips, some fresh greens, and a small serving of condensed milk and you’re ready to go.

PANCIT PAD THAI. Yes, there is such a thing as pancit pad thai, and you can get it for only P320.

It’s one of the twists in store for you once you dine at Crisp on 28th. They took the classic pad thai, with all of its crispiness and crunchiness, and gave it a Filipino twist: using bihon or glass noodles instead of the traditional wide rice noodles. It’s healthy, creamy, and, with a little bit of heat, a treat as delicious as the last.

OSSO BUCCO ALA ILOCO. A fancy name for a dish that’s simple yet oh-so-satisfying, especially when the beef just falls off the bone. Enjoy it for only P430 for a single serving or P760 for sharing.

Osso Bucco ala Iloco isn’t exactly a local dish. It’s a Milanese dish that’s usually done with cross-cut veal shanks braised with veggies, white wine, and broth. At Crisp, however, it becomes a Filipino fusion dish, replacing white wine with basi or sugar cane wine. The sugar cane wine gives it a unique flavor that goes really well with the crisp mushrooms and boiled baby potatoes.

SIZZLING KARE KARE. For only P360 for a single serving or P680 for a larger portion, you get this sizzling take on a Filipino classic.

Kare kare (beef and peanut stew) is a classic that never goes out of style no matter what you do to it, and that includes serving it on a sizzling platter with a bowl of shrimp paste and more crispy tripe. Never leave Crisp on 28th without at least ordering one for yourself.
