Most known for their ballet classes,the Academy One Music & Dance Center hosts training classes for music like voice, piano and guitar as well as other dance courses such as lyrical contemporary dance, hiphop, and other specialized courses.
First established in 1994, the Academy One is affiliated with international examining bodies Royal Academy of Dance, London, The Australian Conservatoire of Ballet, and ABRSM for music.

The students go through extensive, technical trainings and recitals in order to prepare for the numerous local and international dance festivals, performances and competitions where alumni and students alike have won awards.
In 2009 the Academy One’s students have been recognized for representing the Philippines in the New York’s International Ballet Competition and also being finalists in the Asian Grand Prix in Hong Kong and winning in the Philippine Dance Cup.
Many of its students have earned scholarships from prestigious dance programs abroad like the Royal Academy of Dance Summer School in Hong Kong, The Joffrey Ballet summer school in New York, and the elite dance institution The Royal Ballet School in London, among others as well as the Philippine High School of the Arts, Ballet Manila and Philippine Ballet Theatre.
