Founded by Romy Sia in 2010, Wine Story was inspired by The Billionaire’s Vinegar, a book about rare wines and the stories behind them. The concept was created to help guests understand each bottle’s origin, maker, and flavor profile.
The Ortigas branch specializes in French wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Champagne. Most selections are sold by the bottle, while selected occasions feature Tasting Flights that allow guests to compare different labels and flavor profiles.

These tastings are guided by Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET)-certified staff, who help guests choose wines based on their preferences and intended pairings.
Wine Story also offers Magnum, Imperial, and Royal membership tiers, with privileges such as bottle-keep services in central and private cellars.

The wine selection may be paired with charcuterie boards, artisanal cheeses, duck confit, and certified Angus beef ribeye.

For private gatherings, the Imperial Room accommodates up to 20 guests. The space may be used for business meetings, intimate celebrations, after-work gatherings, and private events.

Wine Story also operates the Wine Story Academy, which offers foundational and advanced wine education programs. Guests may also attend winemaker dinners, expert-led masterclasses, and guided tasting events.
Another highlight is the Château Experience, an immersive setup designed to recreate the atmosphere of enjoying wine in a Bordeaux vineyard.
Aside from its Shangri-La Plaza branch in Ortigas, Wine Story also has a branch at Uptown Residences in BGC. The BGC location offers a full dining menu, along with private spaces such as the Royal Lounge for eight guests and the Vineyard Lounge for up to 30 guests.
