  • Cafes and restaurants have been popping up all over Metro Manila, but one has managed to carve out a special place in the hearts of office workers, tourists, and expats alike

Wildflour Restaurant, the flagship of the Wildflour Hospitality Group, has been a beloved destination since its opening in 2012. This French-American café-bakery offers a warm, rustic ambiance that invites guests to relax and savor an all-day dining experience.

With an evolving menu designed to cater to diverse tastes, Wildflour has maintained its reputation for fresh, homemade cuisine that delights with each bite.

The restaurant’s menu is a dynamic fusion of comforting classics and inventive new dishes, ensuring there is something for every time of day. Guests can enjoy hearty rice bowls, savory sandwiches, and indulgent dinner plates, each thoughtfully crafted to satisfy any craving. Complementing these offerings is a beverage selection that includes coffee, teas, juices, and smoothies, providing the perfect pairing for any meal.

One of Wildflour’s standout features is its in-house bakery, where freshly baked bread, pastries, and desserts await. The bakery is particularly renowned for its signature creation, the Cremadette, a buttery, flaky pastry filled with creamy custard and topped with caramelized sugar for a satisfying crunch.

In their Widflour branch in Rada, Legazpi Village, Makati City, they also have the classic Sourdough, a naturally fermented loaf with a deep tang and a crackling crust that develops its full character through a long, slow rise.

Another must-try is the Cranberry Walnut Loaf (Php 340), a hearty bread woven with tart cranberries and earthy walnuts for a balanced mix of sweetness and crunch.

Meanwhile, their Panettone is a tender, airy holiday bread enriched with butter and studded with preserved fruits for a luxuriously fragrant finish. It comes in three flavors: Mixed Fruit, Hazelnut, and Chocolate Chip.

When it comes to food, among the many options on the menu is the Kimchi Fried Rice. A flavorful fusion of Korean-inspired ingredients, this dish features fried rice tossed with house-made kimchi and savory beef, crowned with two perfectly cooked eggs.

Recently, their Egg Salad Tartine and Duck Adobo have been gaining attention for their sumptuous flavors, so if you are looking for something to try out for your next visit, these dishes are definitely worth a try.

Wildflour also offers a selection of drinks that are just as impressive as its food. The Iced Cubano (Php 180), made with Wildflour’s signature espresso, is a bold and refreshing choice. The smooth sweetness of milk is balanced perfectly with the espresso, making for a deliciously invigorating pick-me-up.

For a more indulgent option, the Pistachio Au Lait provides a comforting experience, with the nutty richness of pistachios blended with creamy milk in a velvety hot drink that’s ideal for cozy moments.
